Yoga is essentially based on the seven-chakra system that lie along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head, and each of these chakra points is responsible for the organs and gland’s healthiness in its region. The chakras are not only responsible for the organs and glands, but this extends and contributes to our personality traits and characteristics. Of these seven chakras, one of the most important and fascinating is the Ajna Chakra or Third Eye.
Sumit Kumar Manav was born in a small town called Baghpat in Northern India. His quest for Yoga took him to the Himalayas, home of pure yoga. It was during this journey that he discovered the science of Yoga, a way to human consciousness and overall well-being.
Sumit has studied this science at some of the best Yoga institutes, firstly at the much-acclaimed Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan in New Delhi, and later in Nagpur (India), where he graduated in Yoga and Sports Sciences.
Yearning for more knowledge and with his mother’s determined guidance, this took Sumit to Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in the Himalayas, one of the best traditional Yoga schools in India. He completed his Post Graduation in Yoga and human consciousness here.
He also trained under BKS Iyengar in Pune, where he learnt and practiced Iyengar Yoga and Osho dynamic meditations for the next two years.
