I attended both the yin & yang yoga retreat & breath is life workshop. I found our trainer Sumit to be friendly, informative & attentive to each individual participant. Overall, I would highly recommend attending these workshops since they are exhilarating and up-lifting with plenty of tips for personal day-day use.

Have been with Lifestyle Yoga since their inception and have known Sumit for much longer. Experts yogis with amazing knowledge and infectious energy. Congratulations on your 9th birthday. Keep growing and spreading the love.
Excellent classes!! Sumit and the team always keep it interesting and fun with diversity in their yoga offerings--always enough to keep the burn going and have us coming back for more--thanks, Lifestyle Yoga!!
Scrolling through the facebook newsfeed, we stumbled upon a 1 day desert yoga retreat that seemed like the perfect way to spend a Friday. Without much thought we registered and that was a start of a journey from where there was no looking back. With the backdrop of the sand dunes, and a perfect breeze, we went through the various aasnas in the early part of the evening. It was followed by a session of meditation and yoga nidra that was refreshing and left us with a sense of inner peace. A bon fire was lit up, accompanied by the gentle sound of the steel tongue drum, we mingled with the group to share our experience and stories. The trip ended with a morning yoga session and some dune climbing.
This was just the start, the rest of the year has been filled with retreats in the himalayas and austria which cannot be summed in such few words. We have collected memories along the way, made so many friends and have drastically improved our flexibility and the various yogapostures.
All in all, being a part of lifestyle yoga has brought about a positive change in our daily routine, from spending endless hours behind the desk and looking at a computer screen, we now look forward to attending Lifestyle yogas classes and planning our holidays around the retreats they organise. Kudos to this lovely team who pushes their students to push their own limits and inspires so many people everyday !
Looking back at this picture, I can confidently say that the best thing I did for myself is getting into YOGA.
YOGA is said to be for the purpose of uniting the mind, body, and spirit. The amazing thing is that the practice is always evolving and changing, so it never gets boring.
Getting in shape can include losing weight, building muscle definition and strength, and feeling fitter and healthier. Any kind of yoga, when practiced regularly, will improve your strength, flexibility, and muscle tone.
And in LIFESTYLE Yoga, each & every class is more enjoyable & the trainers ensure that we get the maximum benefit.
Having trust on the trainer & doing the classes regularly, helps to achieve the BEST results.
“Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame ."
Weekly attendance at Yoga class is mandatory to my well-being. I deeply appreciate the manner in which the classes are designed.
Classes begin by drawing attention inward, to a pure space from which a student can set intention. From here they weave Yogic wisdom and encourages mindfulness as slowly awakens the body through the practice of Yoga postures. Classes are both subtle and rigorous. Sumit trusts the ancient wisdom of Yoga and can lead others with grace into a powerful weave of integration allowing mind, body and spirit to come into true alignment.
In this fast paced and sometimes unsettling world we live in , coming to the Yoga center allows me to bring my mind, body and soul back into balance. I couldn’t do without it and the effort I receive from it ,is wonderful . My first noticeable physical effect of doing yoga was increased flexibility and range of motion in joints. When I first started with the forward bend, my hands were level with my knees - my back was very inflexible. Now, my hands are fully on the floor, my forehead is at my knee level. My goal is to touch my forehead to my knees. Yoga practice has increased my strength because the postures use my own weight to resist itself in balance poses.
Sumit & Ritesh, are experts in anatomy and physiology. They know which muscle groups are engaged in each posture. They explain variations of the posture, so each student can adjust to their experience and comfort. There is no "competition" or judgment in the classes. Each does their own practice according to their ability and progress from there. The contraindications are explained for each posture, so if one has high blood pressure or is pregnant, a variation is given. The students are supportive of each other and
I’ve always been impressed with Sumit's deep knowledge of yoga as a science and a philosophy, and how this flows through his classes, and is passed on to the students on both an individual level and class level. I have always been encouraged by his calm assurance & find his teaching methods motivating. The classes have always been enjoyable and provided an opportunity for personal physical and mental development .
Life wouldn't be complete without Yoga .
Since joining Sumit and the group on the best Yoga retreat in the Himalayas this March, I have felt a very positive change to my life! Not only have I experienced an authentic yogic practice, I have also made new friends. Sumit and all the instructors within Lifestyle Yoga have a unique style of teaching which I have never encountered before in my 12 years of practising yoga. They manage to combine Yoga in a way that creates balance but is challenging at the same time.
"I’ve been practicing yoga with Life Style Yoga for about a year now, The classes at Life Style Yoga can be Intense and rigorous, but with the smoothness of the teachers at the Life Style Yoga it cultivates the perfect blend of a kick-ass challenge that will make us grow some calmness and spirituality within us. They make sure that we adjust our feet, our shoulders, where our hands should be, what we should be striving for. They ask us to give 100% of ourselves. In turn, they give us 100% of there awareness and inspiration"
I was introduced to Lifestyle Yoga and Sumit Manav – the man behind the organisation – around 4 years ago. My life has been transformed since then with positive energy, mental and physical flexibility and a balanced outlook. Apart from attending daily sessions here in Dubai regularly, I have also accompanied the instructors on Yoga retreats and treks which have provided a spending opportunity for self-analysis, introspection and given a new dimension to life. One cannot help being influenced by Sumit by his combination of humility, confidence and energy. Despite attending his sessions for over 3 years now, I am still surprised by new postures and routines – changes that we look forward to. Sumit has infectious enthusiasm that he has managed to convey to all his instructors and the sessions are enlightening, challenging and full of fun. The science and philosophy behind the ancient practice is always explained which enhances the experience of Yoga. It has been a pleasant and wonderful experience that I hope to continue forever.
